New user feedback
I received details of the site from The Plunkett Foundation and have just registered.
I think the idea of the website is excellent and so far I have found it very user friendly.
I plan to e-mail my contact list of the community shops in Hampshire to encourage them to use this - as it is easier in some ways than getting people together.
My concern is that as there are often older people involved in running community shops that they may be more reluctant to use this,
Good luck.

Jayne,
Thank you for your email and congratulations for being the first beta-tester to use the forum. I am delighted you are going to be passing on the site details to your Hampshire shop contacts and we look forward to seeing them on the site too.
The idea and demand for this forum has been led by those of you working within the community shop sector. When we sent out a questionnaire in August this year we received over 100 replies from 60 different shops over just the two week period. We know then we had to do something and this is the result.
However it is important to highlight, as you have done, that this approach will not suit everyone and therefore we hope that when funds allow we will be able to capture the learning from this site and produce it in hard copy as well. Does anyone have any ideas as to how this could best be done? Or could we improve this site to make it more user friendly for the reluctant computer user?
