Shop information
I think that it would be helpful to have some basic information on here about each shop and that we should complete a simple questionnaire.
Information that would be helpful is;
how many hours is the shop open/what hours days
is there a post office? how many hours is this open?
bands of turnover - to give an idea of scale of shop
types of products sold - eg dairy/grocery/newspapers/local produce etc
The purpose of this would be to allow for better comparisons. It would need to be in a simple tick box layout.

Thank you for your email. We have been thinking along similar lines and it is really helpful to have your ideas for what information would be most useful. As you say this type of data will allow for better comparisons and perhaps in the future we can develop some benchmarking facility which would allow more detailed comparitive analysis. One step at a time however!
