Occasional error when posting comments

Dear users,

A few users are experiencing a problem when submitting new content onto the site. When they hit the "save" button the data is not uploaded and is lost.

Every submission on the site should be confirmed with an on-screen message to the effect that the form has been successfully submitted (the precise nature of the message presented will reflect the specific task being accomplished). If no confirmation message is presented, it is likely that the form has not been successfully submitted. In that rare instance the user can generally click the 'back' button in their browser (assuming the page view has refreshed in some way) and attempt to re-submit the form.

To help Graham who runs the site in this, if you experience problems of this nature please can you provide any details that you can, including, the time the problem occurred, which form was being submitted (e.g. a comment form, a forum topic form, etc.), any error message that was presented, etc. This will help to establish whether there is any pattern to the occurrences that might point to a source.
