Chiller condensation problem
Hi
We've got a problem with condensation on our open multi-deck chiller leading to puddles of water on the shop floor. Has anyone got the same problem or any ideas about how to solve it? We've had the chiller for about three years but the problem only started a few months ago. It's on a service contract and no issues were found at the last service.

We have had the same problem and in the end we had to call in the engineer to give it all a good clean. I don' t think it's something you can afford to ignore. When was your last service?
Thanks for this. Our last service was March, so the next one is due in September. Fortunately with the dry weather there haven't been any puddles lately.
This type of issue seems to be worse in the summer when the chillers are working harder. that's our experience anyway. I guess regular maintenance to ensure the chillers are running optimally is the best policy. We use a freelance refrigeration engineer at our shop, and I would encourage others to seek out and use an independent contractor as well if you can. He is much cheaper than using a big firm, quick to respond to our calls - sometimes able to come out to us same day. He was also able to find us a new-to-us chilled display unit recently for just £600 (new price c.£2000).
