Post Office Counter - surplus
Seven years ago in the Pennine village of Midgley, the PO gave us a grant to reopen our village Post Office. In 2008, they decided to close it down as part of their rationalisation programme! We are now moving to new premises, an old Co-op building in the village, where we can have both our community shop and a community room.
Surplus to requirements is a PO counter. It was one of the the first installed without screens for POs thought to be low risk. It contains some useful drawers and a safe. Free to a good home - but it will need collecting (Midgley is near Halifax in West Yorks).
Please email sally.hinton@btinternet.com if you are interested, before the end of June.
