Advice on essential information about setting up and using a CCTV camera in Motcombe Community Shop
WE are opening on 10th july and have been given acctv camera by a benefactor. We have the forms for applying for registration, but need some guidance on the essential equipment,training and procedures for operating it in a small village shop. Martin Lee 01747 852273. Thanks
It's been a while since you posted this, but if you are still looking for an answer I have found a well-qualified electrician who is familiar with CCTV systems and can give advice on this, as well as point you to the right documentation for procedures. One procedure, for example, is that there has to be a sign visible in the shop to say that people's images are being recorded (although I think this is flouted by many many CCTV operators). Can you go into more detail as to whether you have a computer monitor, recording device etc?
