First Aid training

We are thinking about First Aid training preparatory to opening our shop next Spring. The courses seem very expensive and we wonder if there are any requirements for numbers or types of staff who should undergo the training, as we don't want to spend money unnecessarily.

It may be worth reading the Plunkett advice sheet on First Aid. This can be found on http://plunkett.co.uk/whatwedo/rcs/advice.cfm

Look at the Ready for Trading advice sheets and there is one specifically about first aid. As long as someone is appointed as First Aid Person (i.e. knows to call an ambulance etc) and you have an Accident Book, you should be covered.

Many thanks Helen!
