Bishops Frome Community Shop stocks most household items, including papers, milk and bread. We also sell a small selection of stationary, cards and gifts. 
The shop also acts as an information centre for the whole community, especially our older adults and young families.
 
Villagers opened up the shop in February 2009 as a reaction to the closure of the post office and general store. The social enterprise, which is supported by Midwest Rural Enterprise CIC, acts as a hub for the whole community, with shop profits being ploughed back into local projects such as the Internet Cafe and the Youth Club.
